I've got two weeks to sort this shit out
To recap, I take having this temp gig as a sign to pursue a career as a truck driver.
The challenge is, how do I make this happen. An FB/music friend sent me a lead for a local truck driving job and that’d be amazing if it pans out; I left a message for the “HR guy” two days ago, hasn’t called back yet. If I don’t hear back from him on Monday I will try again....

Doing my research for becoming a truck driver has made me even more aware of the correlation between fuel prices and the price of food; diesel goes up, trucking companies charge more to haul food to grocery stores.
